Early Parks and Recreation

The City park is located on Highway 71/20 with an enclosed shelter house available for rental to the public for social functions. The new playground equipment at the Lions Park was purchased and installed by Early Betterment Committee. They had several fund raisers and donations to raise the funds necessary. A softball/baseball diamond is located one block west of Main Street and is used by little leagues and adult ball players. Yearly softball tournaments are held during Crossroads Days. The little park across from the ball field is called Diamond Park. The equipment at that park was donated by Citizens 1st National Bank.
